Caldwell "Defends" Tillett

Friends,

Again we have postings from Mr. Caldwell "interpreting" and "defending" Gregory Tillett's texts here, as if Tillett could not do that himself.

What is, though, my point about Tillett's observations on the ULT and on the inner life of the Adyar TS? It is that Tillett simply does not know the present sate of things about the inner side of the Adyar TS ( the period since the early 1950s is outside his field of study ) ; and he equally ignores things related to the ULT.

He may blame both Mrs. Burnier and the ULT for his lack of information, but
his attitude with regard to Theosophy will possibly not help him satisfy his curiosity as to Adyar or as to Los Angeles.

I guess Tillett was and will be honest; and he never suggested that he had any deep interest in the philosophy of Theosophy, as long as I know.

But as to his work with regard to the Adyar TS in the period of 1900-1934, and Adyar TS's ritualisms -- it is superb.

Carlos.
