Spreading Theosophy Into the World Wide Web

This is to all those who help us to understand theosophy and the theosophical principles.
When I see active input, such as by spreading information about theosophical magazines and articles, this is what this list is all about and can be seized by the average theosophical reader. These inputs have been most helpful to me and to most seekers, IMO.
But, as I also have seen, there is active and frequent name-calling and insulting dialogue aimed at belittling theosophist's work within our movement. There is also frequent display of "theosophical knowledge" aimed at nothing more than personal ego stroking and self-aggrandizement. The flooding of this list with libelous and perjorative word spray is unbecoming to HPB's students, IMO.
Can we not cease and desist? Could we just keep this list to spreading theosophy and the principles of theosophy. Could we keep this list as an information data base about historic theosophical personages? Could we just keep this list as a historic data-base of world-wide students with world-wide views about theosophy? Could we remember that there are lurkers, who enter into and out of our cyber-world, whose only impression could be the negative impressions that are actively being pursued by some of our list members? Is really spreading HPB's theosophy?
Marie
