Thanks to the good karma you do no insist unnececessarily on resolved and clarified issues. 

Things  get clearer as discussions advance. 

I at first thought that

Now I see his position is that fake letters should be clearly identified as fake, not as "doubtful".

Much better,isn't it? 

I did not change my mind.  The information available expanded. 

Now, I do hope you change your  mind as to editorial policies, and do accept some basic  ethical principles!

Some changes of mind are good.   :)
