MKR,
Thanks for your comments they are stimulating. This Internet topic has
arose here several times. Also some while back I posted about the "Free"
Television Training and Production facilities here in America in many States here. It
is available for very moderate costs (about $25-35 USD per Training Course per
person) in the following:
1.Basic Camera Operation
2. Multiple Camera Operations
3. Editing
4. Advanced Editing
5. Program Production
Theosophical Lodges, Members, Headquarters can using today's Digital Video
Camera record even at home a Lecture, a Documentary, or many other variations
and then using this footage as a Member of an "Access Community Channel"
reserve an Editing Booth equipped with all production means create Titles, Credits,
insert art music or other content in the footage shot in the home and submit
the finished Program for airing to a wide general public on the Cable
Broadcasting System of the City where they live. Additionally as just a "Member" of an
"Access Community Channel" they also can be a "Provider" of Professionally
Produced Theosophy Video Programs sent to them from Wheaton or Adyar or other
Headquarters of Theosophy, they must show they have Credentials as a Bonifide
Member of Theosophy to do this but that is the only requirement. There is usually
no fee to air such Programs.
One new avenues I was apprised of at a Halloween get together by a long
time Access producer is this; he told he now has more than a dozen of his
Community Channel Produced Programs on "Google Video." He uploaded them and they
run usually an hour and it is easy to find for anyone in the world on the
Internet. Load Google Main Page, then click on the "Video" Tab, when the page is
loaded in the search box you can enter as topic to see if there are listings of
current Video's on Google Video. He told me he has had over 35,000 visitors to
his personal Videos on Google from all over the World. This close friend is
also dyslexic but there is nothing wrong with his courage or imagination.
What a beautiful opportunity the Internet serves on the table of the
Symposium of Mankind. Will you step into the "Circle of Unity"?
John
