I have heard that Julia Keightley later become the O.H. of the E.S.T.
connected with "Mr. Hargrove's" The Theosophical Society in America.
Does anyone know if this is right? It has been speculating on, if it
was Julia and not Mrs. Tingley that actually should had succeed Mr.
Judge in 1896 (as O.H. of the E.S.T.), but Mr. Hargrove (he was
Chairman of the E.S.T. Council in 1896) wroth, if I recall my memory
right, once in Theosophical Quaternaly that it was Mrs. Tingley, but
she "failed". But this has on the other hand nothing to do with if
Julia later becomes O.H. of the E.S.T. of the T.S.inA.
Please note, that this is an historical question.
Thanks!
Carl
