Seems to me there's no shortage of wholesale trouble makers these days, and I think that what might classify them as black magicians is that, as I tend to see it, they have  managed to convince billions of people---if not quite always themselves---about their wisdom and knowledge in their various, so-called "areas of expertise and/or authority" in big business and government.   If the reader has to ask who/what I'm referring to specifically, I suspect the reader might be one of the convinced millions, one way or another, so I don't see much point in being more specific.
