Dear Nigel:

I am not sure what you mean by "thoughts are not our own until we 
own them."  Can you elaborate?   I wonder if Mr. Mohanty is 
inquiring about the origin or nature of our imagination. Are you 
suggesting that our imagination is only a result of other people's 
thoughts?
