As you should know, there are KEYS to understanding any esoteric texts.

The WORDS of  HPB's "esoteric papers" are now widely "exoteric", yes -- so what? 

The esoteric is not in the physical plane of reality, where one text can be "secret" or "public". 

The esoteric process depends on the viewpoint, or state of mind, or level of consciouness, from which one approaches any given text. 

There is a transmission which is not in the Scriptures, the Zen says. Talmudists state that each paragraph of their Holy Scriptures can be read in seventy different ways. 

HPB wrote of seven keys or levels for reading the "Secret Doctrine". Sufis know that the most important things cannot be spoken of through words. Pythagoreans taught Philosophy through examples and so did every true Philosopher since ancient Greece, including HPB.   

The viewpoints from which, and the ways in which, one can read HPB's Esoteric (now Exoteric) Papers and UNDERSTAND them is not in words,  but these keys can be produced in oneself through long years of daily practice in truthfulness, right thinking, Ethics, self-observation, study, selfless work, and so on.  

Besides, it (about discipleship)  is all in "The Voice of the Silence" --  a highly "esoteric" paper, by the way.  

Those who want to play with mere words, or to make money out of them, can do so. 

But the real task before us is to "popularize a [practical] knowledge of Theosophy". 

Word-playing is no Theosophy.
