Translated to the present western calendar, HPB's birthday corresponds to August 12.

Yet, due to the Precession of Equinoxes, nowadays her 'anniversary' occurs technically a little bit earlier.  

The Precession of Equinoxes is the movement by which -- as centuries go by -- the Sun moves slowly 'backwards' through our Zodiacal Map of the Sky.  

Astrologers ( and  Boris de Zirkoff, and Ms. Jean Overton Fuller ) assume that when HPB was born (30-31 July Old Russian calendar)  the Sun was at 18 degrees 28 minutes, Leo.    

>From the astrological viewpoint, the Sun's position makes one's anniversary. 

Some 7-8  hours ago, today, August 11, the Sun was at the exact position of 18 degrees, 28 minutes, Leo.  (By the way, in a nice conjunction with Saturn.)

Tomorrow, August 12,  the Sun will be by 19 degrees and more, technically about one day past her "anniversary". Of course, August 12 is still her birthday from the cultural and numerological point of view.  

The London Terrorist Plot was foiled with the Sun in the sky in absolute conjunction with HPB's chart Sun, that is, it happened very much in her astrological anniversary.  Her 175th anniversary.
