ON BORIS & THE MOVEMENT

Daniel,
The central fact is not in the mistakes done by Boris in his SD. For Adyar TS , and in Adyar's context, his SD is superb -- especially if compared to the Besant edition. His SD is a step ahead. In one century Adyar people will be reading the original edition of the SD, perhaps.
But Boris' mistakes are peripherical to his life.
The wide movement owes him a lot, as it owes Damodar Mavalankar, Walter Carrithers and many, many others who had or have respect for HPB and the Masters.
As to silent editing, this is not a uniform mistake. There are editorial mistakes which are soft and easy to deal with. Others are hard and grave matters, more difficult to deal with.
Regards, Carlos.
