Do you mean the PRINT edition of the SD issued by TUP in 1988 or the
ONLINE ed.?
In 1988 TUP published in 2 volumes a photographic facsimile of the
1888 ed. of SD. So yes this edition should be free of later editing.
I assume the online ed. is also free of later editing other than
what is quoted below from the online ed.
