Why anybody would even want to read this book by peter Levenda (also known under penname Simon, under which he concocted a hoax version of the infamous and non-existent 'Necornomicon') when there are the serious and learned books by Goodrick-Clarke (Occult Roots of Nazism), Joscelyn Godwin (Arktos the Polar Myth) and James Webb (The Occult Underground and The Occult Establishment) or the studies by Ellic Howe (Rudolf von Sebottendorf, Urania's Children), is beyond me.

If one wants to read erreoneous, highly fictionalised and having no basis at all in verifiable history second grade lecture, one could also easily read Dusty Sklar's, Jean-Michel Angeberts, Trevor Ravenscrofts or Pauwels and Bergiers books on the theme of Nazism and the occult. Needless to say that these books are not scholarly at all.

Theo
