spam guard and yahoo mailing lists

Jun 17, 2006 09:39 AM
by Eldon B Tucker

I was just looking at the theos-talk mailing list using Yahoo's web
interface, and found a new section called "Spam?" and Bill's message
in it. I see that Yahoo has added a new feature to mailing lists that
does an anti-spam filtering of postings, putting on hold any posting
that it thinks is spam. The listowner needs to review and approve or
reject each such message. I immediately approved Bill's message, and
will now be looking to see if I can turn off this new feature so that
this does not happen again.
