Carlos,
You wrote to me:
"You know that Solovyov first behaved as a theosophist,
to later make his treason. You know that very well."
Please be very specific here in what you are asserting since
you claim I ALSO "know that very well."
What do I know very well??
You go on:
"The point is that, after his treason (for a holy bribe?) he is no
legitimate source."
Yes he did turn against HPB. For a holy bribe? What is this all
about???
You go on:
"Before his treason, who can rely on him? Yet, there is no evidence
that he was lying before his treason against the truth, the facts,
and the movement."
His testimony in 1884 about encountering the Master which I quoted
is in fact confirmed by both Mahatma M. and by HPB. Don't you
believe them? :)
Personally I agree with what Michael Gomes has written:
==========================================================
Although he LATER claimed that he was playing the role
of the docile inquirer, Solovyov's name appears in
a number of letters to the press [in 1884 for example]
testifying to the VALIDITY of Theosophical phenomena.
The publication of Richard Hodgson's damning report of H.P.B.
in the December 1885 Proceedings of the Society for
Psychical Research, and the attendant ridicule it brought
to the adherents of Theosophy, must have caused him to RECONSIDER
his position, for HIS ATTITUDE toward her RADICALLY CHANGED. . . .
============================================================
Caps added. Quoted from Gomes' Introduction to Beatrice Hastings'
SOLOVYOFF'S FRAUD.
Carlos, it is somewhat sad to see you making statements like:
"V. Solovyof -- who seems to have a major influence on Daniel
Caldwell's work -- made propaganda about the idea that HPB was a
spy."
You say Solovyoff "seems to have a major [???!!!] influence on Daniel
Caldwell's work [what work????]".
Where do you dream this stuff up, Carlos?
Please try to make more accurate and factual statements.
In my book I quote only his testimony from 1884 which is basically
confirmed by HPB and M. And his testimony, in this case, actually
supports "the VALIDITY of Theosophical phenomena" (to use Michael
Gome's words). In my book I did not use any thing from his MODERN
PRIESTESS OF ISIS. His testimony was only a very small part of my
book and yet you say Solovyoff "seems to have a major influence on
Daniel Caldwell's work."
Enough of this. Back to proofreading my book.
Daniel
