The Psychoanalytical Society (Freudian) in Peru has been promoting for a number a years several inter-disciplinary books  and research (Historical, Anthropological and Psychological) on the main Andean Myths. 

Most interesting material, as to the lower side of collective karma. Of course the same myths can be compared to other (Greek, Hindu etc) traditional tales and interpreted in their higher meanings.  

A comparative study of Andean tradition and  other cultures must be made some day from a Theosophical perspective. 

The origin of many  Latin American social movements can be traced to the first utopian longings for the anciente communal  solidarity -- those dreams of an Andean Society Restauration. 

Andean peoples, culturally, never entirely surrendered to the European colonizers, as HPB correctly wrote in ISIS and in "A Land of Mystery".   

Liberation Theology, repressed by the Vatican, came to being in Peru in the 1960s under the influence of ancient Peruvian utopias.
