Dear Friends,

One of the remarkable differences between the 
Coulombs and the present-day publicists of their forgeries 
(see below) is that the Coulombs got payed by the Vatican 
-- the bribe was not a fortune, though -- while their 21st 
century publicists are most likely working as generous and 
self-sacrificing volunteers.(1)  

As to Soloviof (see below)  there are no outer evidences of his being 
paid in money for his hard work against the theosophical 
movement.  If he got payed, it did not come to light.
