Crosbie's Work and Common Sense

Dear Friends,

Daniel Cadlwell writes, see below:

"It is clear H.P.B. issued the esoteric instructions at the direction
of the Masters. But years after the deaths of both H.P.B. and Judge,
who gave Robert Crosbie the authority or right to go against his
pledges & reissue H.P.B.'s esoteric instructions to new students
under an oath of silence and secrecy? Did Mr Crosbie believe that
he was following in the esoteric footsteps of Blavatsky and Judge?"

I will comment on that.

Perhaps Mr. Robert Crosbie did not feel he had to put his reasons
before those unconcerned, since these were private matters.

His attitude in this was quite different from Mrs. Besant's, who proclaimed
to everyone she talked to the Masters and what-not.

Even if private matters do not concern public discussions or myself,
it is clear that Robert Crosbie did not indulge in showing-off status symbols. He was, as I feel, an authentic Student. Yet he had intuition, and the fruits of his work can be compared to the fruits of Besant/Leadbeater's work.

As to "authority", the only authority a Theosophist must obey to, is the authority of his own Heart.

And no true Master will ever disrespect the authority of his Disciple's Heart.

There is no "outer" authorities in real Theosophy... only in Besant's Pseudo-Theosophy, in her "Liberal Church", etc.

Regards, Carlos.
