What then is the purpose of becoming a Theosophist?  What's wrong 
with this picture?  Will I be recruited to join a holy war 
somewhere?  If I fail to achieve inner peace, that is?

Every good Christian needs a gun in their hand, to deal with the bad 
people of the world.  (Murderers, kidnappers, pedophiles, 
terrorists, lower income people and the like, etc.)  Or at least a 
good lawyer.  Does the same go for Theosophy?
