Thanks. 

Of course, for some, Ethics is not Essential to Theosophy. 

Yet for many people "theosophist is he who Theosophy does", 
or who tries to "live accordingly".   

It is only Sophism which does not care about the practice of 
the Teachings. Philosophy is love for wisdom.  Theosophy is very
much akin to Philosophy.
