John- Mandukya Upanishad

I am familiar myself with four states of consciousness which I'm
guessing correlate with the four that you've mentioned here.

1. Daily Waking (As per our common 16 hours per day)

2. Nightly Sleeping (As per our common 8 hours per night)

3. Mystical Trance (A merger of the firstly-mentioned waking and
sleeping states, wherein the earthly-focused psyche attempts to
apprehend the higher spiritual realm, but fails to do so, as
evidenced by the existence of it's veil of dream experience. The
dream state merely serves to protect the ego's pseudo-consciousness,
by reinforcing it's false sense of earthly security.)

4. Spiritual Awakening (that place wherein the firstly-mentioned
waking and sleeping states are merged, but the cloudy veil of dream
materials has altogether dissipated. One percieves directly into
the supernatural realm, bypassing the chaotic veil of dreams, and is
able to confer with the spirits directly.)

Do these four items that I offer somewhat correlate with the four
that you are presenting yourself? I have directly experienced the
four states that I have listed on occasions too numerous to count.
Granted, my terminologies fall a bit short here.
