Cass -- I would love to see more media used well dealing with
theosophy and HPB. Movie making is way out of range for most
people, and a good movie that does justice to HPB would require
considerable skill.
Animating the Proem and Stanzas with the symbolism that HPB used is
something within reach of an inspired, bright artist with good
computer skills.
Are you familiar with the Japanese "anime" animations? They took a
lead in pop culture in the 1990's. Arjuna and Krishna would be
great characters for that medium. The Bhagavad-Gita is profoundly
moving to me, and I'm sure it is to many others. I always get a
buzz when I look at Krishna's blue face. I think Subba Row had a
similar quality as that commonly portrayed in Krishna.
The Bhagavad-Gita genuinely changed my life years before I read
HPB. Blavatsky loved it too, and asked that passages be read to
commemorate the first anniversary of her death.
A lot of media are available for transmiting the wisdom in
contemporary terms.
