“Every Western Theosophist Should Learn and Remember...”
THE “MAHATMA LETTERS”, ON DEALING WITH FALSEHOODS
ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Dear Friends,
Having been intoxicated with the theological indoctrinations of Vatican
Christianism for the last 16 centuries, we suffer from a tendency to think
that outward courtesy must replace actual respect for truth.
Yet, surprisingly enough, common respect for truth is inseparable from true
Brotherhood.
In the “Mahatma Letters”, one of the Adept-Teachers who inspire the
theosophical movement writes:
“Every Western Theosophist should learn and remember, especially those of
them whom would be our followers -- that in our Brotherhood, all
personalities sink into one idea -- abstract right and absolute practical
justice for all. And that, though we may not say with the Christians,
‘return good for evil’ -- we repeat with Confucius -- ‘return good for good;
for evil, -- justice’.” (1)
Best regards, Carlos.
