Hi Hauw,
The most important is what Theosophy is, and not what several people
made of have made of it.
That is why everyone needs to learn the originals and not other 
visions.
Every lodge have a lot of original books and also you can find some 
on internet.
It is an Universal Wisdom and of which is to be find a lot in common 
with every religion. Only the most religions have made their own 
stories. HPB,Besant,Leadbeater all wrote about that.
A simple explanation is given by Baborka, secret doctrine, divine 
plan, glossary of sanskrit terms,HPB ,Tibet and Tulku; the story of 
the human evolution and also Mahatma letters.
Other simpler explanations are to be found in the books of 
AnnieBesant and also the books of Clara Codd and much more to be read 
at under mentioned website.

The other ones have presented so much, you can find easy on the urls 
they promote.

My personal investigation shows me the own made stories of the 
Theosophical University Press.They liked to bring all in modern 
language, but they changed teachings in a lot of other words with 
total other meanings, also in Dutch we have this problem; so I take 
only original books from Adyar.  The same as most religions have done!
I think it is human to color and interpretate the originals.Also the 
ones which read them, we can see.
It is not easy to give good summaries, that needs capacity and 
control.

Sinnett, transcribed and compiled by A.T.Barker
the third edition of the Adyar publishing house 1979.

There is to be found a lot of work theosophists have done in the 
present time.Ken Wilber for instance and a lot more.

What we have on talks over people, which are past and away,who can 
prove CWL was a peadophil? Have anyone be there? 
The Only critics I have on Besant en Leadbeater is that they cannot 
make an adept or a Jesus, because Adepts make themselves.
And Krishnamurti was not an Adept, only a good teacher for the ones 
don't know.He gives good advises in logical way. 
At the feet of the master needs everyone to have.In our country every 
member have had one of an old Theosophist from 
the Philipinnes, because he thought nobody can miss that lectures.
That was very kindly to help anyone in the beginning.

At least Theosophy needs to clear your vision, only your own and in 
that you can find a lot of ancient wisdom honesty written, without to 
have to potention of mighty, but to bring strenght and that is 
something total different. Good to look at.

My way of research is to the essence and not with all clouds of 
interpretating and personal coloured images of Theosophy at all.

I think it is a silent study, which brings clear air in a dusty and 
cloudy world and is a neverending story.
