Theosophy Takes It All

Dear MKR,
Altholugh there may be an enriching difference in perspective, we
fundamentally agree. We should not try to eliminate from the theosophical
movement the internet, nor to eliminate from it the physical and daily
aspects of life, which naturally include roofs, houses, physical bodies,
family, physical buildings and books and other "personal" relationships.
Theosophy takes it all -- because it is an all-embracing "philosophy", a
word meaning love-for-wisdom.
Thanks and greetings, Carlos.

Thanks for your feedback.
Unless we incorporate in our daily lives what we learn from being exposed
to
theosophy, we cannot benefit and grow . All personal and social
interaction
is part of our daily lives and as such we cannot ignore them. On the other
hand, when the TS was launched, formation of physical centers/lodges was
the
only way to bring together individuals who may have interest in theosophy
and hence it served its purpose extremely well. Now that Internet is
available as a means of bringing individuals together, it is my view that
old format of physical centers is no longer an effective tool for spreading
theosophy.
Added to this issue, is the question of leadership of the organizations.
Historically, vigorous and upcoming movements are lead by individuals in
their prime of life. Older individuals may have worldly knowledge and
experience, but not necessarily the drive needed for a growing
organization.
The typical example is TS itself. HPB, Olcott and Judge were all in their
prime of life. Lord Jesus and Lord Buddha, Lord Shankaracharya were all
young in their prime. We can find more examples.
While the above observation is my humble one, time will definitely tell.
Hope we all live long enough to see the future trend.
