As a new member of this group, I am amazed at the conceit of the dbunkers
here. I am wondering why they are in this group. If they do not have open
minds toward the spiritual and the paranormal they do not belong in a
Theosophical group.

Anyone who has read Isis Unveiled by H. P. Blavatsky knows that she took
seriously hundreds or thousands of claims of yogis and holy men, many of
whom she met and studied personally during her travels. The debunkders in
this list would not believe a word of Isis Unveiled, obviously, so why are
they here? Occultism demands an open mind at the very beginning.

The fact that we know nothing at all about Ram Banjan except two very
scattered and inconclusive press reports, yet members of this list are
already stating that the boy is a deceiver (though so far as the press
reports go he has made no claims and so could not be a deceiver), suggests
that they are not fit to study or investigate occult, paranormal or
spiritual phenomena. In fact it would appear that their only purpose here is
to annoy those of us who do care about such Theosophical matters.

Skeptics can never be convinced. They have taken a stand against everything
spiritual and no one can change them. But they can try to disrupt serious
spiritual discussion, which seems to be their agenda here.
