YES!! That is the THEOSOPHICAL point of view, to deal with the suffering of
all human being, without party-lining of ANY ideology (including
Pseudo-Theosophy or sectarian Theosophy).
That is, was HPB always lived and taught for, the sublime Heart Doctrine of
the Schools of Dzyan, she delivered to the Western world.
Sympathy and compassion for all fellow beings is what a Theosophists makes.
Not how to get lower siddhis, become an initiate, a clairvoyant or power
over people.
The Heart Doctrine does not ask whether the suffering being is a left, a
right, a Conservative, a Liberal, a Communist, a Nazi, a black or something
else.
Some time ago I heard a Krishnamurti lecture on video and he said the same
about the lower mind which seperates. K did understand this! (at least)
So misdirected Theosophists - who blame the victims rather responsible
authorities - may find the way back (or forward!) to HPB also thru
Krishnamurti.
Today German newspapers give a timetable of the Katrina catastrophe,
including that Bush in the first days rejected the offered help of around 60
nations.
It is a matter of fact - as proven several times in catastrophe regions like
Kosovo or Afghanistan - that the German stand-up Emergency Team with the
most modern equipment is very fast and competent.
Had the Bush administration not denied its arrival, there would have been
not such a danger of life delay for several days and many more victims would
have been rescued.
So they received their second victimization and many paid with their lifes
for that stupid, proud ignorance. A Whisky, please! Cheers!
James Bond actor attacked Bush directly, saying that it seems that Bush is
not interested much in America.
