Shephard Smith and Geraldo Rivera on Fox Cable News

by Daniel H. Caldwell

I found the following posting on a blog:

"Reporters Shephard Smith and Geraldo Rivera on Fox Cable
News are visibly shaken and upset because officials won't
let people leave the cesspool of the convention center or
give water and food to 'hundreds and hundreds and hundreds"
of people on the freeway overpass even though many have medical
emergencies and have been there for days."

I can verify that these two reports happened on Fox Cable
News tonight (Fri, Sept. 2). I saw the show live
and later in repeat.

Shepard Smith said that for the last four days he has reported
on tv that there were hundreds if not thousands of stranded
people (who were without water, food or medical help) on
the freeway. He reported tonight (Thurs, Sept. 1) that conditions
as of this evening HAD not changed whatsoever at this location. He
was indeed visibly shaken and upset.

Some might conclude that government officials on all levels
(federal, state and local) have NOT watched these news reports by
Smith for the last four days!
