Are you under training from a master, or are you self-taught?
I eventually lost everything, except for what I learned in chi kung.
And I think it was most likely from showing off. I don't think you
lose any abilities you learned yourself.
However, the down-side being, self-taught techniques are much more
ineffective. They're always there, because the laws of nature do not
change, but they are somewhat inefficient. I am unsure of how it
works, but there must be some way for the master to partially
dissociate your atma from your ego (or some other lower form),
essentially taking away your well of occult knowlege. This would only
work until the point where you ascend.
