The negative attitude towards women prevails in many walks of life. On this point I wish to supplement as follows. For it, I am indebted to three theosophical women who are vibrant forces in my life and thought.

The first one said that in the process of reincarnation the soul changes gender. Therefore, a man should not belittle women . The man who belittles women should think of his future incarnation as a woman.

The second one said that the women's liberation movement is the result of a large number of men reincarnating as women and a large number women reincarnating as men. Therefore, the women, who in the past lives were men, are claiming their rights. The men in their present life, who were women in earlier lives, are sympathetic to the liberation movement.

The third one said that hatred goes from one round to the next. Thus animals should be treated with love and affection instead of cruelty and hatred. In an article written by a theosophical man, I read that hatred carries from one incarnation to other incarnations..

It is a remarkable fact that three women have made and are making outstanding contributions to theosophy.
