You know I thought the exact same thing that incredibly the people
seemed content to wash their hair and cook in plain view of people
passing by on trains.
We have homeless, I am not stupid nor blind. People who need
resources have to migrate to large cities. But there IS a difference
in India because the people whe are homeless, in New Delhi anyway
were damn everywhere. I mean we were getting out of the truck to get
into the station and men were sleeping rolled up in between the cars
in the parking lot!
Not to mention on the tracks. We had to walk over people as they
were just everywhere you looked. That I've not seen in the States. I
mean they are here but not everywhere you walk...that is the
difference. But the Indians seemed happy. I did not want to say that
because it might sound racist but that is what I too noticed. Why?
