I think there is a general misconception about clone. For the physical characteristics and the genes may the same, but such will be modelled and adapted to the environment and conditions during the process of development of the clone.

So a clone of Hitler may never become a Hitler if its emotional and mental body will not pass through exactly the same personal experiences Hitler passed. The same childhood, the same moments which have awaken sorrow, happiness, hate etc. So it is impossible to reproduce exactly the same person. For we know which the karmic links and the environment we live are going in a great level to influence the development of the personality.

I tend to believe it is highly possible clones to have soul. For a clone of a human, will be also a human, with feelings, with dreams, with hopes, with the ability to love and hate, to fell pain and to suffer.

They may have found a way to reproduce in laboratories, but still they can't bit nature and find a way to reproduce every single detailed a personality may have experienced. So a clone, will be also within the great law of Karma, and also will pass through his own unique and personal experiences which eventually will make to flourish within himself other characteristics.

Blavatsky in the Secret Doctrine mentions that in the future new ways of reproduction will be found, including reproduction without sexual intercourse. We see such is already happening, so it is interesting do not allow our mind be filled up with shadows of prejudices and misconceptions, based on religious views.

Who are we to judge or to affirm that a clone will not have a soul? In my opinion such discussion does not even make much sense. For there are so many people, as even Blavatsky mentioned, without soul. and they are born from a normal process of reproduction. So between clones the same maybe applied.

Of course if in laboratories they start mixing animal genes with human genes, genes of plants with humans and animals etc. Than they will create monsters and we enter into another kind of practice which easily we could denominated as sorcerer of black magic. We know that something like this happened in Atlantida, so most probably will also happen in our race. Some mythological creatures described in ancient Greece may be some remains of laboratory experiences made in the Atlantic race.
