Even if it were so, wouldn't it be a more sound basis for a theory
than a mere speculation (which you even present as a speculation from

Why should there be any logic in his actions? Is it really
indispensable or unavoidable? And who talks about any sophisticated
vicious plots?

Maybe he was just a tender man with easy speech and wild imagination
caring very little of utterances not immediately refutable...
