A challenge to theosophists.

The Scientific Worldview as opposed to the occult worldview

The scientific view of the world is diometrically opposed to the
occult
worldview (here the Theosophist). Science is about empirically
verified
facts, tested and varified by numerous individuals. The occult
method is
spouting words, quoting some ancient mystics whose musings can't be
verified. They must be accepted on their authority. Science is not
about
scientific authorities but about testing and verification by all.

The only reason Galileo and Darwin matter is that they used and have
been verified by empirical facts. Not because of their words alone,
but
because their words were tested to be true. Tested not by beliefs
but by
anyone being able to duplicate their experiments and observations.

Copernicus and Galileo only got it paritally right. The Sun is the
center of the solar system but not of the universe. The universe has
no
center. I nor anyone who uses the scientific method would quote them
as
if their words alone made any difference. What matters is their
methods
and their resluts. Empirically verified by countless indviduals.

You like quoting 19th century opinions. I guess theosophists are
stuck
in that century. That's when their infallible leader wrote her
musings
and that's where they get their misinformation about Darwin. Darwin
has
been confirmed by every scientific finding on the subject of
evolution
for the past 150 years. My challenge to the Theosophists and all
other
occultists is "where are the empricial verified facts?".

All there is about a human, our body *and* intelligence is
materialistic. The body was evolved and right along with it was the
brain. The brain contains all the physical structures that comprise
our
intelligence - our reason, thoughts, senses and emotions. Their has
been
a ton of verified research. I would recommend Richard Leakey, Daniel
Denent, or Steven Pinker for starters.

And incidentally, your buddy Leo doesn't know *anything* as in "not
one
thing" about string theory. Go read what the science actually says.
No
scientists who actually does string theory research is an occultist
nor
does there findings have anything to do with what theosophists say.

Cass, I give you my permission to post this on the theosophy list. I
notice they haven't responded to your questions yet. I have been
waiting
to see their answers.

My opinion is they can't. They won't talk to the scientifically
minded
because all they have are opinions without facts.

Wrong, untested, unverified opinions don't validate anyone.
