This statement, though erroneous one, has nothing common with the
doctrine of his later books. Obviously, the real HPB was there, for

In his books Leadbeater never wrote so, probably he realized himself
that he was mistaken, or the question was cleared to him by HPB
herself. Unfortunately I haven't seen any of his letters to her, yet
one her letter to him was published. It seems from the letter that
there was a confidence between them.
Yet some other authors also say that there were several different
tenants in HPB's body. Prabably it was so, but real Russian HPB was
among them too.
