Could just as well be, there is no evidence for or against it. I'm
going to go with your opinion on this, seeing as how the underlying
cause of why the neurons become hypersensitive in the first place is
completely unknown.
The reason why I often approach everything from a scientific/medical
view at first is because I try to stay as grounded as I possibly can
and base new knowlege off of something I'm familiar with. Not a very
easy task to accomplish when dealing with occultism, but I try :)
