Hi Mark
I also think that the misfiring of the neurons in the brain, is the effect, and not the cause of depression. Medical science treats the effects, but is a million light years away from understanding its cause.
My non scholastic opinion of course, based on my gut feeling. Not very scientific and totally unprovable.
