And thanks for yours.
I like that look-inside feature, that's very nice and I've not seen
that before.
It's one of the reasons that I usually check Amazon first for book
information. I remember being able to write an extensive reply to
someone one time simply by reading the introduction of a book with the
Look Inside feature. Months later, I bought the book, which happened to be
The 72 Names of God: Technology for the Soul

Yeah, I know what you mean about math, math and physics,
philosophy and spirituality - really, it's a long list, that goes on
and ...
It's interesting how things can come together. A few days ago, I
commented on something from my reading from "Doc" Smith's *Subspace
Explorers* then today the topic somehow got to Lightning strikes. One of
the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) on one of the sites you sent me to
debunked the myth that a person who is struck by lightning holds the
charge until it bleeds off. (Not true it said).
Anyway, the interesting comparison ... the book that I'm currently
reading, the one I discussed a few days ago, has, as one of its plot
elements, the ship flying through subspace getting hit by the galaxial
equivalent of lightning, and being so supercharged that landing on a
planet would have destroyed everyone aboard.

Funny how things just seem to come together once in awhile. Later, when
I'm more awake, I want to compare a certain plot element of another of
"Doc" Smith's series to what Leon wrote about "The path of another is
fraught with danger." (I believe that the books that I'm motivated to
read again and again are the ones that contain plot elements that
amplify lessons that my infinite spirit knows that I need to learn, and
for some reason, I get more good from the fictional settings than I do
from the deeply involved writings.)
By the way, is the "Secret Doctrine" here:

the same as (or related to) the Secret Doctrine that gets discussed so
much on this list.
Just curious.
