I like Wikipedia for very obvious reasons, the main reason being the
compilation. Yes, things change and yes, that may be presented in
an informative but variety (postive/negative) of lights.
That doesn't bother me.
I wasn't commenting on your sending the link, Thalprin.
I was commenting on someone who sent text to one of our members,
alleging that it came from Wikipedia, when it in fact appeared to have
been fabricated in several places. Forwarding the text INSTEAD of
forwarding the link is what I was commenting on
Sending links to Wikipedia is wonderful, because I know that 99% of the
time, the information will be reasonable, unless you're unfortunate
enough to visit there right after someone has posted false information
and before it gets corrected by one of the super-editors. (Anyone can be
an editor, but only a super-editor has access to to the root level of
the info).
