That person, or the person who sent it to him, was the person who made
the edits. (Or they could have simply changed it for their e-mail
without changing it at Wikipedia).
Anyone that uses Wikipedia much knows that there is a team of editors
who verify all edits, and who delete the deliberate errors, so the
person who sent out the e-mail may have avoided that hassle and just
changed it in his copy. We'll never know.
