Mauri,
Lead Balloons are very usefull if one loves fishing. But I am a Vegetarian
and can't use hooks,lol.
John
^:-/ ... hookless fishing, with lead
balloons? Sounds like something I might
want to try this summer. Thanks for the
tip, John! I know just the spot for it,
too. My family/friends already think
I'm weird, so I don't think hookless
fishing would make any difference. I'll
be planning for a vegetarian picnic to
take along. You're welcome to join me
if you happen to be in the area. Just
bring along your own fishing equipment, eh.
John, something peculiar seems to have
happened last night. Somebody heard me
laughing loudly about the time I was
writing that lead balloon, but, as far
as I recall, I didn't laugh out all that
loudly at all---seems to me, at least in
retrospect---and I feel that even if I
did laugh, it seems hard for me to
believe that the laughter was loud
enough for anybody to hear it on the
floor below. I'm wondering if you
might've come across that kind of thing
before. Or could it be that I got so
involved in writing that lead balloon
that I didn't even realize how loudly I
was laughing ... Hmm ... Maybe if I make
notes of volume levels/times right after
each laugh ... Or what if I set up a
tape recorder ... On the other hand I'm
wondering if maybe I did laugh that
loudly, after all, seeing as I still
tend to think that that lead balloon was
one of the funniest things I ever wrote
...
