Dear Bart
I have seen a bit of this with the rigging of ballot boxes here. Some, not all, are selected on to the Committee because they have been doing voluntary work within their society for years and as not many people are prepared to dedicate their life to working for the theosophical society, they tend to render to Caesar what is Caesars. 


The remark of mine came from a posting by Anand who said that the TS Press is a mouthpiece for the TS President.

The Adyar TS has election of representatives (can any other TS say the 
same)? And what is the basis of your question?
