As a public librarian I like to imagine I'm purveying something nobler than pop culture schlock, but people's reading tastes are sometimes just as creepy as their taste in movies or TV. "Wallowing in the worst we can imagine" is exactly the thrill of fiction that focuses, for example, on horrors befalling children. >>

There are, fortunately, some groups who are trying to do something about that. There's an outfit called Spiritual Cinema Circle that comes out, each month, with a two-DVD package containing four or five features, a full-length film plus three or four shorter items. I had them send me a sample month before I'd feature them on my web page, and I loved what I saw. As soon as my income warrants it, I'll be joining.

If you'd like to know more, go to my NEW personalized message page

I'll explain what this new page is about in my next message.

P.S. Are you looking for a great gift for the spiritual someone on your
list? (Or for yourself?)

Look no further. http://www.spiritual-dvds-every-month.com/

I checked out one month's worth of DVDs and loved every minute. And I
really appreciated the fact that they didn't try to promote just one
point of view.
