Yes. One of the most difficult lessons is for a student to learn to
discriminate the planes in which the experiences take place. It is
essential to familiarize oneself with the qualities, the tones, the
feel, and the attributes of the different kind of substances (or
planes). Unfortunately, most fall into the trap of being lured and
attached to sensationalism. To be able to study one's experiences
from a dispassionate angle is one of the keys in developing
discernment.
