Hi--

John is right that I posted about this, my interest wasn't sales 
comparisons but rather the new indexing feature that allows authors 
to identify other books in which theirs are cited.

On either amazon.com or bn.com, you can enter any term as a keyword 
and get all the hits in their database. The first ranking that 
comes up is "relevance" and I don't know how that is calculated. 
But you can switch to "bestselling" as a ranking method. To be more 
precise, you can follow links at the bottom of an individual title 
that will give you *subject* as opposed to *keyword* rankings. This 
results in far fewer hits. Here is Barnes and Nobles sales rankings 
of books on "H. P. Blavatsky" as of today:
