Were you referring to G. R. S. Mead's work "Did Jesus Live 100 BC?" Also,
I read about the Jehoshua ben Pandera story and it seems is was being viewed
as a "ridicule" story invented by the Romans based upon Jesus being the
illegitimate
bastard due to the union between a prostitute and a Roman soldier. ( I think
I read that in Flavius Josephus's work.
