You seem to be referring to the letter AB received in 1900. You should be 
able to find it in the archives of theos-l or theos-talk. If you are 
unable, I can e-mail you the letter.

When it was first published, CJ redacted parts of the letter when it was 
published by TPH. Sometime in 1980s/90s unredacted version was published in 
another publication.
