Well, it is a bit difficult to regard the British Library in London as
a "non-answer".

Also, please remember that Mead was the EDITOR of "The Theosophical
Review" and he provided FULL space in the magazine for the Leadbeater
critics, which included William Kingsland, Bertram Keightley and A.R.
Orage, besides his own editorial comments. He also provided space for
Annie Bessant's articles and replies. The "Review" was widely read at
that time and therefore influential among TS membership.

No, the Archives at Adyar were not affected by the tsunami, and
equally no, I don't know where the original letters are. But would the
British Library accept inauthentic copies of documents as part of its
collection?
