I knew Fritz first hand. He was very reluctant to discuss this issue at
all--either to defend or to condemn. Note also that Fritz's
Theosophical writings pretty much avoid Leadbeater and focuses on
Blavatsky and the Theosophy/science connection. Dora was four years old
and living in Java at the time of the incident in question. Therefore, I
never considered her a reliable withness--though she talked as if she was.
That is why I only considered her to be useful for what happened AFTER
1910 or so. And, as I said, my knowledge of what Fritz said was second
hand; I appreciate the first hand account. As I have stated, my opinion
of Leadbeater isn't very high in the first place, even without
considering his personal and professional behavior.
