Re: Theos-World Re: Christianity or not...any teacher but the teachings!

Dear Christina
Sorry, I misinterpreted your meaning. We are both on the same wave length now.
It is sad that new students of Theosophy are directed as a first source to CWL mainly because the teachings stated in Secret Doctrine and Isis Unveiled are very profound and at the same time hard to understand for beginners and advanced students. Hence the many questions to clarify certain topics. Without a teaching guide meaning is all up to the interpretation of the reader, which can misconstrue what is actually being said. Best to get rid of the rotten apples whether or not there was some truth in some of the things they said or not. Their (CWL and AB and others)teachings, in many cases and on many subjects are in direct contradiction of what HPB and the Masters said, and only serve to confuse or alienate the beginner who says to himself, "make up your mind, is it this or is it that"?
Luther misinterpreted the teachings of Catholicism and didnt wake up until he was over 40 that God cannot be found through any church system but through man himself. Not that I am a Lutheran, but he saw the hypocricy and double standards of the organization that he was a member of for most of his life.
Regards
Cass

the lower mind(manas) can teach the higher?
Just I mentioned that the person living in the lower way, the way of
the desires cannot give the teaching of the higher, even not in clair
voyant way, because that is on his lower level.
So if Leadbeater was and used the homosexual way, he was not in a
spiritual way.!
> How can someone living in the lower manas teach others about higher
manas.
Chr: he can NOT.
Didnt he have a conscience?
Chr: Yes, one on his level !
Are you saying that to be spiritual/ethical you dont necessarily know
the difference between right and wrong?
Chr:Then for sure you know!
What effect do you think this would have had on all the young boys
who were placed in his care for their spiritual development. He
boasted that masturbation of others was the lesser of two evils. He
could have masturbated himself blind as far as I am concerned but
nobody has the authority or justification to psychologically damage a
mind that is not even fully formed, that doesnt know the difference
between right and wrong.
Chr: It is not to me to justice over masturbation ( right or wrong).
I think with that there is no problem at all. That is better than to
use others.
I mentioned the homosexuallity of Leadbeater.
>If the spiritual kitchen is too hot he should have left it, not used
it.
Chr:He is not the only one that uses theosophy to feel authorian and
one with the crack regiment.
> Sorry, but I really get riled about this subject, he shouldnt have
inflicted his perversion on others.

Are you so sure about that?
