Re Animal premonitory sensitivity to cataclysms

Harry:

Can you give me a link? Would help a lot, my time is so limited.

Yes I am interested.

We ought to reproduce such info on our list.

=================================

Los Angeles TIMES, for Jan 9 205 (Sunday)

Item:

WATER LEVEL IN LOCAL WELL sensitive to earthquakes.

On Dec 26 2004

Near Christansburg, Virginia is a well know for its sensitivity to
geological disturbances.

Water level has been known to alter in response to earthquakes, and is
watched by U S Geological Survey.

Earthquake, force 9 and Tsunami in Sumatra, though 9,000 miles away, caused
its water level to change by 3 feet.

Fluctuations lasted about 5 hours..

QUESTION: Why and How does this happen?

Does anyone among us take note of such anomalies? Many can be posted for
general info.

Best wishes,

Dallas
